Abstract
Super paramagnetic Metal oxide nanoparticles with appropriate surface chemistry have been widely used experimentally for numerous in vivo applications such as magnetic resonance imaging contrast enhancement, tissue repair, immunoassay, detoxification of biological fluids, hyperthermia, drug delivery and in cell separation, etc. In the present investigation, Polyaniline/Nickel oxide nanocomposites with various weight percentage of Nickel oxide (10%, 20%, 30, 40% and 50%) were synthesized by in-situ polymerization method. The prepared nanocomposites were characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD),Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).The DC conductivity of the samples was measured as a function of temperature in the range 30-190°C and it was found that the increasing the concentration of Nickel nanoparticles increases the conductivity.
