Abstract

The experiment studying the effect of growth regulators in Glory lily was conducted in Factorial Randomized Block Design with two factors. Five different growth regulators, namely, GA₃, CCC, MH, Ethrel and NAA, each at two concentrations (250ppm and 500ppm) were  applied on tubers of two different sizes (average weight of 90-100 g and 140-150 g tubers). Among the various treatments experimented, the growth attributing characters like plant height and number of branches showed positive response to the growth promoter, GA₃ @ 500 ppm applied on to tubers with an average weight of 140-150 g (GR₃W₂). This combination exerted significant influence on the above mentioned traits in Glory lily.
