Real Time Implementation of Stereo Matching Algorithm Using Matlab

To realize the accuracy and stability of the real time binocular image matching, this paper design a stereo matching algorithm based on window & horizontal line based method. Firstly, apply median and homomorphic filtering for real time stereo image preprocessing to minimize noise and enhance image contrast. Secondly, apply the corner feature extraction and matching method based on window & horizontal line based method for obtaining the characteristic information of real time target. And then apply the constraint condition to eliminate the error matched points, so as to improve the real time image matching stability. Finally, the experiments verify the algorithm proposed in this paper, and the experimental results have shown the effectiveness of this algorithm.
