An overlap between primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a rare entity. Overlap with AIH is seen more often in children. Identification of an overlap in patients with PSC is important because it carries a better prognosis with response to steroids and azathioprine. Here we present a case of overlap syndrome (PSC and AIH).

Abstract

Identification of an overlap in patients with PSC is important because it carries a better prognosis with response to steroids and azathioprine. Here we present a case of overlap syndrome (PSC and AIH).
