A Bibliometric Analysis of Journal of Indian Library Association (2007-2011)

This study is to identify the number of articles published in the 'Journal of Indian Library Association' from the year 2007 to 2011. The research method adopted is Bibliometrics. The study covers the number of papers published, the number of references made, the authorship patterns and average length of paper published etc. All the points discussed in the study will be helpful for its fiirther development. The analysis showed that only 2(2.81%) research paper were contributed by more than four authors. It also reveals that out of 71 research papers only 3(4.22%) research papers have no citation. Only single author from foreign country contributed in the journal during the period.
