Subscribe/Renew Journal
This study explores the authorship characteristics in Physic literature appended to 12 doctoral dissertations of the University of Kerala during 2003- 2007. A total of 3,796 ref^ences collected, includes 2,660 journals and 414 books were analysed. Results indicate that collaborative research is preferred rather than solo research. The degree of collaboration in journal articles in different years gives an average value 0.77, arid for books the degree of collaboration is 0.40.
