Surface Tension Plays an Important Role to Increase the Efficiency of Tooth Pastes

Present report describes the cleansing efficiency of household tooth pastes. Here we use five branded tooth pastes for this study. Surface tension, density, pH study have been done for this purpose. Colgate max fresh shows lowest surface tension between them. Tooth paste consists of many ingredients. But surfactant plays an important role to increase the efficiency of tooth pastes. Low surface tension helps better cleansing property. It is expected that Colgate max fresh reduce surface tension in a great extent than the other tooth paste.
