Modeling Enterprise Resource Planning of TISCO:A Petri Net Approach

An Enterprise Resource Planning program (ERP) is integrated computer based system to manage a software biasness process. Implementing an ERP software is usually a complex and risks project which is significant to change a business process and work practices. Unfortunately, the implications of interdependency are usually underestimated by project managers and decision makers since they are difficult to include in any risk assessment logic. This work shows how Petri Nets can be used to model ERP projects in order to deal with the problem of interdependence in modules. The technique is presented through an application to a real case study.
