Conference on "History of Mathematical Sciences" (2016)

The conference was held in the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Imphal, Manipur. It was organized by the National Institute of Technology, Manipur and the Indian Society for History of Mathematics (ISHM). Dr. Y. Rohen Singh, Head of the Department of Mathematics, NIT, Manipur was the Convener. Financial supports were received from NIT, Manipur, National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), IIT, Bombay and several other agencies. The conference was held for three days from the 18th November to the 20th November. It was a very well attended academic meet with more than 100 delegates from all over India and two renowned mathematicians from abroad.
