Correlation of Brain, Mind, and Human Health:A Complex Neurological Phenomenon
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Human brain which is considered as the most complex organ of the universe has grown recently as an interdisciplinary area of study. The intricate but scrupulous neuronal circuits of the brain are proven to be highly plastic in nature which gets rewired with each new learning. Complex electrochemical processes of neurons and discrete neuronal connections are manifested in form of perception, consolidation and storage of diverse memories that we call mind. It is well established now that approximately 70% health related problems have their ischolar_mains in mind that is due to psychosomatic conditions, generated through integrated psycho-neuro-endocrine-immune axis of the body that alters the neurochemistry of brain leading to disrupted body physiology.
