Obituary

The Institute of Science, Education and Culture (ISEC) records the untimely passing away of its beloved past-president. Prof. Premamoy Ghosh on the 27th April 2011. Prof Premamoy Ghosh was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and migrated to India and had his lifelong education in Kolkata and also in the USA. A distinguished scientist, eminent educationist and a great teacher. Prof Premamoy Ghosh retired from CU as the Professor and Head of the Department of Polymer Science & Technology. He published a large number of research papers, invaluable books on science and technology as also thought-provoking books on literature. Under his guidance, a large number of students received PhD degree.
