Computer is one of the most remarkable developments in the history of mankind. The quest for a teaching machine has led to discover of various modes of the Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) as well as varied uses of computer networking for educational purposes. Here author’s attempt to deal with this aspect of the usage of computers for mathematics teaching stating background of the development of computer.
