D3 Deficiency Descries Depression

The high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency is a particularly important public health issue because an estimated one billion people worldwide, irrespective of all ethnicities and age groups, have hypovitaminosis D. Insufficiency in the vitamin D level in human body may lead to various skeletal and non-skeletal diseases as well as may be an independent risk factor for total mortality in the general population. Modern researches reveal that vitamin D deficiency and depression is somehow related when depression is the fourth leading cause of the global disease burden. This article caters some light on this matter.
