A Comparative Study between Spanish Flu and COVID -19 (A Statistical Review)

The health of all groups of people especially children and older people were mainly affected by Spanish flu of 1918 and by present pandemic due to COVID-19. Both the diseases are found to be spreading in close contact of people. The infected people of these diseases show some common symptoms like fever, cough, shortness of breath etc. People did used masks and maintained physical distancing and quarantine themselves to curb the effect of the flu. People during this present pandemic are also trying to follow these methods to deal with the deadly situation of COVID-19. In this paper, a statistical study is carried out on the basis of secondary data to compare both the diseases and their impact on health of the people then and now.
