A Possible Mechanism of Superconductivity in HIgh-Tc Cuprates
Subscribe/Renew Journal
High-TC. cuprate superconductors have highly anisotropic properties between ab-plane and c-axis. The present authors had suggested the importance of the experimental study of the effects of uniaxial compression on specimens of the cuprates'. Recent results of uniaxial compression studies indicate pairing of holes in ab-planc. In this context, we have attempted to frame up a model of the mechanism of superconductivity in YBCO.
