This work describes application of multi criteria decision making tool for investigation of optimum welding process for Nodular Cast Iron. Factors like bending strength and tensile strength of the welded joint, workability, the efficiency of deposition and economic merit were considered for the selection of the welding process for ductile cast iron. The experimental data were taken from a previous literature. The experimental data and the data calculated from the mathematical model were compared. It was found out that the results obtained from the mathematical model were in good agreement with the experimental data.
