Abstract
Smoking is a global problem. The prevalence of tobacco smoking is on the increase in all developing countries. Cigarette smoking is a principal cause of preventable disease and premature death. Condemned as "the doer of evil, the giver of diseases and the cause of ruin", smoking has extracted a heavy toll on the individual and community alike.
