Strategic Investment Factors Adopted by Investors in Indian Financial Sector

The Indian financial industry is in a process of rapid transformation. Reforms are continuing as part of the overall structural reforms aimed at improving the productivity and efficiency of the economy, The role of an integrated financial infrastructure is to stimulate and sustain economic growth. Indian finance is to become competitive on an international scale, a qualitative change is required where Indian financial sector regulators improve regulations and improve the regulation making process. Also. investors try to make rational decisions in their dealings with the equity market, but due to their limited cognitive capacity they fail to analyze data optimally. Typical investor's decision about how much lo invest in equity tends not to be based on careful conclusion. The paper aims to describe these factors in order to make the investment decision less risky to some extent.
