Harvesting Rainwater Endowment of the City of Salt Lake

The messages in the report by IWMI and the article above say that life on earth will not be possible after 2070 "SAVE SURFACE AND UNDERGROUND WATER AND USE RAINWATER" warnings are coming to us through Radio, TV and Mass Awareness Programmes like the ones organized by The Association of Engineers. India and other organizations, but we are not paying any attention. We are thinking that the water will last for ever. For hoodwinking these warnings our future generations will have to pay heavy price. Under the situation the Association has been exploring alternative to water crisis. And as result we made an humble attempt to find out Rainwater Endowment of the city of Salt Lake with a view to get an idea about the volume of rainwater available and what could be its possible uses.
