Welding, a process of joining two identical materials by the application of heat or pressure or both with or without filter material to produce a localised union through fusion or recrystallization across the interface, has got different approach from people of different trade. To a designer, it is joint efficiency, to metallurgist, it is the metallurgical structure composition and identity of the weld deposit and last but not the least, to an welder it is how comfortably a deposit without defect can be made.
