The work of the Engineer or Architect and the work of Landscape Architect are complementary, re:the composition of people, the formations of space. The Engineer takes indeed a very wide view of landscape, to him it means the whole of man's outdoor activity and environment and more than man's, because he is attempting to provide a satisfying habitat for the whole natural order-plants, animals and men.
