Subsoil Water:

In this issue we have a very informative and thought provoking paper read before the Association by Sri K. B. Banerjee on the availability of water for irrigation from the subsoil of a vast area of Bengal. It is of great importance to us to study carefully this source of water supply in the context of our problem of food supply for our growing population.
