Whenever an user finds that he is in possession of materials, which he no longer requires, he returns such materials to Stores. Materials which outlived their useful lives or for which there is no demand are also returned to stores by the constituents. The valuation of such stores is based on the principle of demand and supply. If there is no demand, then the supply has no value. In other words, the supply is valued according to the demand.
