Discussion on:Power for Rural Areas
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Mr. G. S. Mitter, (Associated Member):- We thank Dr. Basu who has discussed the burning problem of India in this paper. Power is the soul of any industry or development of a country. So, as soon as our country has become free and as we think of any improvement we have to think of development of power whether in urban or rural areas without which we cannot proceed an inch. But in India as 90% of the people live in villages we have to think of the improvement of the villages. So, we should first consider the development of Power in Rural Areas.
