This is an excellent publication dealing essentially with design and planning of all sorts of buildings from palaces down to middle-class homes and suited to Indian conditions. The author with his long experience as an advisory Architect realised the need of useful guidance so keenly felt by prospective house-owners and embodied his valuable experience in this book which is simply a vast mine of information and replete with many dimensioned plans and artistic elevations of different types of houses.
