Rural Home Sanitation

This treatise deals with the problem of proper sanitation in Indian rural areas with special reference to the small septic tank based largely on experience and experiments in Ushagram Educational Colony at Asansol, Bengal. The Septic Tanks installed on the model explained in this book do not require any trained expert. The principles, methods and costs of efficient disposal of excreta are explained in this book in easy language showing how these Septic Tanks can be built in a simple and economical way so that men of small means can avail themselves of this method of disposal.
