The book first discusses the fundamentals, basic principles of fluid mechanics. Then it includes discussion on fluid machines of both compressible and incompressible fluids. Thereby, almost the entire spectrum of fluid mechanics and machines are described. The text portion of this book is well written. There are as well as 223 diagrams. Good number of exercise problems, and their solutions (325 Problems solved) are given. Overall treatment of the subject is good. However, there are some formatting issues, and question-answer serial number mismatching detected in p.22, p.46, pp.73-74, pp.90-92, p.122, p.176 and p.283. Hope these will be rectified in due course.
