Every country requires Scientific Instruments and Hospital Appliances for its own survival and development. India and some of its adjoining countries are in the state of quick development and, therefore, their demand for these items are more. Prior to our independence these items were being imported from foreign but now some of the organisations have started to manufacture a few of these vast line of products. Vast line is said because there are various branches of science each one having its own sub-branches requiring hundred and odd types of equipments to cater their individual needs depending on its particular type of research. For example a scientist may require a constant temperature bath to maintain sensitivity of ±0-01°C while the next Research Man would be requiring one with the sensitivity of ±0.001°C and the third man might be requiring just one ordinary Water Bath. Also, scientists require a good number of items at stages of research and their requirements are multiplied with the development of their work.
