The environment is contaminated more and more as a result of human activities and is being transformed into an unfavourable alteration for us. There is a need to educate the professional and the general public at large on the complexities of the pollution problem for the betterment of the society as a whole. A comprehensive training scheme has been drawn up to train experts and practicising scientists. Emphasis is also given on the other aspects of the professional activity.
