Environmental Engineering Material and Equipment Developed by Central Public Health Engineering Research Institute

India is yet in a developing economy. Amenities like water supply, waste collections, its treatment and disposal facilities, air pollution control etc. have been hitherto given a lower priority. The growing population has further outwitted whatever little effort was being put in. With the advent of Five Year Plans, the public health engineering problems are getting a better deal but the allocation of funds still remains far from satisfactory.
