In the small interval of time it is hoped and noticed that superficial injuries are caused by the X-rays as little as 0.8 r/day where r is the unit of X-ray and is called ‘ROENTGON’ which is the “quality of X-ray or r ray radiation whose association corpuscles emission would produce 1 esu of electricity in 1 cc of air at N.T.P.”
