Application of Science and Technology for Development of Agriculture

It is the common aspiration of the developing countries to promote their economic, social and cultural progress. This aspiration has become the major problem of present day world economics and politics. The most important aspects of this problem of development pertain to three categories namely economics, science and technology. Science and technology are now considered as the key to the progress of any nation, for on them depend its health, agricultural and industrial production, wealth, rank prestige, power, an even independence. This is particularly true of the developing countries of the world which are in that position, because they have not yet made adequate use of science and technology for development.
