Sulphur, because of its certain apparent characteristics like its excellent adhesion to other materials, substantial tensile strength, impermeability and ease of application, is a potential bonding material. The use of sulphur for structural purposes is one of the current topics on which interest has now been focussed. Earlier sulphur was known to be used as chemical resistant cement only because of its resistance to chemical corrosion.

Abstract

Sulphur, because of its certain apparent characteristics like its excellent adhesion to other materials, substantial tensile strength, impermeability and ease of application, is a potential bonding material. The use of sulphur for structural purposes is one of the current topics on which interest has now been focussed. Earlier sulphur was known to be used as chemical resistant cement only because of its resistance to chemical corrosion.
