This if a great privilege and also a pleasure to publish the Proceedings of the International Seminar on Terotcchnological Impact on Equipment Design, 19-20 Dec, 1988, organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Jadavpur University, Calcutta.700032, India in a Special Issue of the Journal of the Association. In fact, this is the second time the Association are doing the job for same the Organiser for we have also published the 'Proceedings of the National Seminar on Tribology and Terotechnology' held on March 13 and 14, 1987 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Jadavpur University. We are glad that we have earned their confidence on us. We thank the Organiser for their appreciation of our work.
