A naturally existing or genetically modified virus, that multiply selectively in cancer cells and destroy them without damaging healthy cells, can be termed as oncolytic virus. There are different kinds of oncolytic viruses which have different therapeutic applications in cancer treatment. Combination of viro-immunotherapy and conventional immunotherapy can achieve better results in cancer treatment. These possibilities are discussed.Keywords
