GREEN-2012:Geologists' Role in Establishing an Efficient Nation

“Delineation and sustainable use of natural resources are inevitable in the socioeconomic growth of any country”. It is the summary slogan emerged from various scientists participated in the National Seminar on “Geologists’ Role in Establishing an Efficient Nation” (GREEN-2012), being organized by the Department of PG Studies and Research in Geology during 16th and 17th of March 2012. Dr. K.K. Ramachandran, Member Secretary, Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment inaugurated the function and in his inaugural address emphasized the role of geoscientists in sustainable development of earth resources, waste disposal, and environmental protection.
