Trace fossils Diplichnites spp., ? Dimorphichnus, Monomorphichnus spp., trilobite scratch marks, Gyrochorte, Gordia, ? Astropolithon, ? Scolicia, Planolites, Skolithos are reported from the Kunzam La Formation of the Haimanta Group of the Parahio section, Spiti valley. This fossil assemblage occurs 460m below the Middle Cambrian trilobite zone and 1620 m above Precambrian-Cambrian acritarch zone and may represent late Lower to Early Middle Cambrian age. These occur in sediments laid in a low energy environment.
