The paper records the occurrence of Sea Cow from the Tertiary sediments of Kutch. The mandibular fragment recovered from the ferruginous marl.beds of Chattian resembles Halitherlum reported from Europe, Africa and North America. In certain respects it is comparable to Dugong, the living genus, and it may represent a transitional form between the two. With overall consideration it is assigned Halitherium sp.- A New Fossil Crab from Garo Hills, Meghalaya
