Abstract
The Mylliem granite is a normal, coarse, porphyritic biotite granite, rich in potash feldspar. Major element petrochemistry supports a magmatic origin of the granite. The difference between the grey and the pink type of the Mylliem granite is reflected in the variation in the distribution of trace elements.
