On a One-Sided Tauberian Theorem

The principal object of this note is to generalize a one-sided Tauberian theorem of Karamata [3] for the Abel transform of a series. Implicit in the proof of the generalization there is a similar generalization of another one-sided Tauberian theorem, stated without proof by Vijayaraghavan [7, Theorem 8] for the Abel transform.
