Shape Preserving G2-Rational Cubic Trigonometric Spline

In this paper we give the construction of a G2􀀀 trigonometric rational cubic spline interpolant. Using this we construct a rational B- spline or basis for the G2􀀀 trigonometric rational cubic spline interpolant, and show that it forms a partition of unity. We also give the B-spline curve for the same. By adjusting the weights in the rational trigonometric B- spline curve we can bring the rational segment pretty close to the control polygon.
