Use of Technology to Develop Language Skills

Competition, globalization, proliferating information and rapid technological development forcing us to rediscover the way we work and communicate to improve performance and achieve harmony which are the basic needs of this present moment. In this age of booming information Technology both technical and management students must be adaptable, skillful, flexible, and innovative. The subject knowledge which they are getting inside the class is not sufficient to face the challenges of tomorrow. So, they must prepare themselves to face the global challenges. In this respect Communication skills and Language skills should be taught to both Management and Technical students to develop a complete 'self'. To achieve global domination and to enhance personality, developments of soft skills have become a must. This is known as 'people's skills.' This soft skill includes communication, listening, engaging in dialogue, reading, and writing. This skill also helps how to solve problems, to contribute in meetings, to give feedback and to resolve conflict. In today's increasing global economy to meet the special needs of Public and Private sectors and organizations the students must have the ability to communicate effectively, to write and understand the language is a part of desired skills.
