Rosenvingea intricata (J. Agardh) Borgs., a Phaeophyceae New to Chilka Lake in India

Rosenvitigea intricala (J. Agardh) Borgs, a brown sea-weed is reported here for the first time from Chilka Lake in Orissa. The structure of the alga is described in detail. The habitat and geographical distribution of the alga are briefly discussed. A Chaetophoraceous alga occurring as an endophyte in Rosenvingea intricala (J. Agardh) Borgs, is referred to.
