Complexation of Orthophenanthroline with Ferrous Ion in Micellar Medium

The Fe2+ - orthophenanthroline complexation in cationic, nonionic and reverse micellar medium has been studied. The stoichiometry of the complex has been ascertained by the slope ratio method. The equilibrium constant of the complex formation in different micellar medium has been determined by Rose Drago equation. Complexation is not affected in reverse micellar medium by varying ω.
