Human Resource Management is a management function that helps manager's recruit, select, train, develop members for an organization. HRM refers to set of programs, functions&activities&designed to carry out in order to maximize both employee as well as organizational effectiveness. Human Resource Management is also a management function concerned with hiring, motivating, and maintains people in an organization. It focuses on people in organizations.

Human Resource Information System is a computerized information package that provides management with an increasing capacity to record, store, manipulate and communicate information widely with access to many users. Some organizations store their data linked to their personal computers, others uses a decentralized network system with smaller computers at workstations in various functional areas. I have used an HRIS questionnaire designed by Mr. Sreeram AV of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College.

The purpose of my study to focus on importance of HRIS system in both Educational and Corporate Industry. The researcher has used Survey Method. I have designed a google form, which I had sent to different Human Resource Department professionals of both education and corporate MNC.HRIS makes work of HRM department more easy, fast and secure.

The work done by the researcher is genuine and not much research is done on tools used by the Human Resource Departments , many HR managers are still using very old methods of maintaining HR data base and still using slow and complicated MIS in organization. By doing this research HR managers and their team can get awareness about the importance of HRIS and they will understand how much easy their work can become by choosing correct type of HRIS software.

By this research much more awareness about HRIS System will be created. HR Department will try to see the positive side of HRIS System. HR Managers will also know what are the different kinds of HRIS systems used by other companies and how different they are from them. If they found any lacunas in their existing HRIS Software, they can decide to change it and upgrade to new HRIS Software for obtaining better and improved results. There are many colleges, universities and small scale industries are using HRIS. By using HRIS systems what kinds of benefits are obtained by different organizations can be found out.
