An Experimental Investigation on Effects of Input Parameters on the Responses in Electric Discharge Machining Process

Experiments on Electro Discharge Machining (EDM) have been carried out taking into consideration the critical input parameters like current, pulse-on, pulse-off etc., and varying them in the mathematical model developed using Design of Experiments (DOE). Statistical tools are used for the analysis of the experimental results and the effects of valuations of these critical input parameters have been investigated. Attempts have been made to suggest good and balanced combinations of parameters to be used to get a product with superior quality.
