Usage of Financial Tools among Agricultural Labour Households in Punjab

Financial inclusion per se is not a basis for use of financial services by the marginalised section of rural population. It is a supply side phenomena defined as the process of ensuring access to appropriate financial products and services needed by vulnerable groups such as weaker sections and low income categories in a fair manner at an affordable cost by institutional agencies. The other more important aspects of the process deal with demand side such as credit counseling, knowledge and need of these products and services, credit absorption capacity, etc
