This paper analyzes the performance of Morphological Haar (Mhaar) Wavelet Transform for quality controlled electrocardiogram (ECG) compression. This transform is compared with the Haar transform. And results show that Mhaar wavelet transform gives better compression ratio (CR) at high percentage of ischolar_main mean square difference (PRD).
