Abstract

Thinning of binary image processing is a fundamental and important technology. Most of the existing image thinning algorithms are based on processing the same picture multiple times, and deleting the edge points layer by layer. For an amount of information in the image, the image thinning processing is relatively slow. To address this problem, an improved thinning algorithm is proposed in this paper. In particular, this algorithm uses the depth of each point to find the deepest points, only considers the deepest points and its neighboring points to determine the point can be deleted. The thinning processing time is decreased, and the skeleton is smooth, clear and continuous.

Abstract

The object tracking is a technique which is used to track object from the image or from the video, The video consist of multiple frames and in each frame location of that object had been predicted The results of object tracking i.e. trajectory of an object can be either of interest in its own right or can be used as the foundation for higher level analysis. In this paper, methods for object detection, classification and tracking are discussed. In this paper, an overview of techniques to track single as well as multiple objects are discussed.

Abstract

This paper describes the design and implementation of ECG signal processing on FPGA. Lot of research work has been carried out for implementation of ECG signal processing circuitry on FPGA. In this research work all the work is carried out using Xilinx Spartan-3E FPGA starter kit which is taken as a central processing unit. On board Programmable preamplifier, ADC and quad DAC on Spartan-3E FPGA kit have been employed for amplification, A/D conversion and D/A conversion respectively. To generate the necessary control signals for on board Pre-amplifier, A/D converter and D/A Converter, we have designed different HDL modules. The digital output of A/D converter is applied to the low pass FIR digital filter for processing the ECG signals. All the designed modules are integrated in a single TOP level entity. All modules are designed, functionally verified, synthesized, placed & routed using Xilinx 14.3i ISE tool. The functional verification has been performed using Model Sim simulator.

Abstract

Cloud computing is emerging technology in the present scenario, which is gaining more popularity day to day. As its user base is increasing at rapid speed it leads to more complexities to fulfill the demands of users. Cloud computing has to face performance, security, load balancing, energy efficiency and cost management related problem to maintain its sustainability in the present competitive environment. Cloud Simulators plays the vital role in the analysis of cloud related problems with lowest cost with the help of designing the virtual environment without using the real hardware and software resources due to its high cost. In the present era, there are various type of Cloud simulators has been proposed by various eminent authors, In this paper, an extensive survey has been performed to find the suitable platform for the further research work.
