Abstract

Some machine parts are essentially constructed in such a way that they may be readily connected or disconnected without making any damage to the machine components or the fasteners. This is needed for the purpose of holding, adjustment, servicing, inspection, replacement, etc. These requirements are most adeptly fulfilled by the use of screw fasteners.
